This illustration is a cover design for CDQ magazine, "Character Design Quarterly" My favorite art magazine. The illustration is inspired by my two cats "Sansa and Arrya" that I rescued from the streets.
The focus of the front cover illustration is the meeting of eyes between the cat and the young man.
To Start I focus on the linework, taking into account that the complete illustration will be on the cover of the magazine as well as on the back.
